Hameedians FC affiliates with Old Boys’ Association (OBA)

Hameedians FC recently affiliated with Old Boys’ Association recently, making the bond stronger with the main body. The President A. M. Aadhil, the Secretary M.N.M Mujeebdeen and the Manager P.M.M Mufshid of Hameedians FC publicly announced their willingness to affiliate with the Old Boys’ Association at the recently held Annual General Meeting (AGM).  Subsequently the OBA welcomed their move and adapted a decision to recognize Hameedians FC as an affiliated body at the Executive Committee meeting held on 19th June 2016.

Hameedians FC comprises fellow Hameedians who played footballs for the College representing various local and international matches. The club was formed on 01st January 2016 and played many matches against leading football clubs. On 01st January 2016, they also formed Hameedians Veterans over 40 Club as well. Altogether it has 45 members at present. Hameedians FC has participated at Colombo League Football Tournament (2015 / 2016) and also one of the semifinalists of Division 02 Silver Cup Semi Final (2015/2016) and Division 02 League Semi Final (2015/2016). Recently they have sponsored the All island inter Schools Football Tournament organized by Sri Lanka Schools Football Association in Under 19 section Final Encounter between Hameed Al Husseinie College Vs Maristella College.

By affiliating with Old Boys’ Association, the Hameedians FC will receive due recognition in all its future activities and the support of the parent body.
